The MEERS mission control page is now live! There is still much to do. Several pages still require some fine detail work and the over all layout of the website needs to be tested and approved by all parties involved.
It is our hope that by next our meeting the message boards will be active and development of the voice over server system will be started.
Mission Control needed a way to establish communication between the classroom and the trailer, so the folks on the mission control team found the best option for live communication was a VOS (Voice over Server) system. This VOS will be run using a program called Mumble. The only problem with the VOS is that the service requires a server to run off of. Until the computer is built and programmed to run the server we felt that a Raspberry Pi Micro- Computer would be the best solution to our server hosting needs.
